Various Patche Files - Linux Kernel |
Linux is one of the fastest growing operating systems now with millions of followers around world. Its sources are freely available and bootable distributions can be purchased on CD-ROM's or downloaded from many sites. I got my initial distribution ( slackware at sunsite or the slackware home) from sunsite.unc.edu.These are the Kernel patches I use (the number may change from time to time since some patches get incorporated into the kernel and, therefore, are no longer needed). These patches need to be installed before the Linux Kernel is compiled.
- The master script (KERNEL.PATCH), which I have in /usr/src/kpatches, to install all the patches
- Patch to start with NumLock ON when booting up
