The Stake President, Lynn Shurtleff, has given us these goals for 2000. They were delivered at a stake fireside on Sunday January 2, 2000. If we are faithful, diligent, and prayerful, these goals can be attained. And in so doing, we can make the vision that he has seen happen. That is: that by 2025 there will be 3 stakes where the San Jose CA South stake is now.

  1. I will prepare one person during the year to receive missionary lessons.
  1. I will pray daily for missionary success in the San Jose CA South Stake
  1. I will befriend every new person who comes into my ward.
  1. I will nurture myself in the good word of God through daily scripture study.
  1. I will request at least one less active person to visit/home teach. I will visit this person every month. I will learn to truly care about this person and I will, during the year, invite him/her to come back into activity.
